II CBT software package which is used tointerface to the S.W.I.F.T. network. The product has been S.W.I.F.T.certified since 1991 and is currently installed in over 50 banks aroundthe world. TurboSwift has been designed to make full use of the state-of-the-art operating systems which employ the latest client-serverarchitectures for maximum configuration flexibility. It can run on asingle machine or distributed over several machines by a local areanetwork (LAN). On the SPARC platform, TurboSwift is installed atcustomer sites using both SunOS and Solaris 2.x.The product uses X-Windows and an SQL Database (currently Informix) andis designed to support the requirements of the smallest to the largestinstitution. It covers all requirements for a standalone or gateway CBT,handling up to 10, messages per hour. TurboSwift handles manualmessage preparation for all current S.W.I.F.T. message types as well asrealtime message interfaces to hosts, back-office applications, and Telexsystems. It can support many simultaneous users or be set up for fullyautomated gateway operation.A multilevel security subsystem controls full user access security.TurboSwift is certified for full SLS and BKE functionality, which are theelements that comprise the new U.S.E. (User Security Enhancements)feature of the S.W.I.F.T. network, and which uses ICC technology.A full range of reports and inquiries are available, including trafficsummary, message, operator and security journals, delivery and messagehistory reports, and all network activity.The S.W.I.F.T. network will require all new users of the network toconnect by use of the X.25 protocol.
